How to Build Your Personal Board of Advisors (just launched)
All new Thought Liters
Hi everyone,
2 weeks (and a stupid number of hours) later, a new episode of Thought Liters is dropping now. In it: how to build your personal board of advisors.
Yes, I said personal board.
You’re surely aware of company boards. You might know a board member, or a board advisor. Hell, you might even be one.
My guest today applies that construct to the individual. And (especially if you haven’t heard of it before) it’s a must-do for the up-and-coming professional.
Pete Schramm, founder of Lattitude, has devoted his life to this concept. I’m lucky to have met him in DC in 2014, (and to live near him now). This episode gives an overview of what a personal board is, and how to build one for yourself.
If you’re receiving this, you’re still one of 46 people I know personally (yes, if you’re reading this email now, I can see that). THAT MEANS: please, please, please, give me your honest thoughts on this video. I can take the criticism — and these take too long to get wrong. So if you watch this 8-ish minute piece, and don’t like something, I frankly have to know.
Alright, that’s it for now — I’ll write a slightly more detailed piece soon on exactly how long it takes to make of these mf’ers.
Love,
Adam
